We are The Little Green Platter Company, a family run
business based in Orrell, Wigan in the Northwest of England. We have a passion for food, supporting small artisan producers and celebrating British produce.
A lot of people don’t realise that the word ‘Green’ in our company name is actually our family name although we do like to think that it also represents our love for fresh ingredients and our eco-friendly focus.
The business started life in early 2017 by Karen Green, who has always had a love for artistically styling food, exploring and discovering exciting quality artisan foods and exploring different cultures.
Influenced by the ‘grazing’ style of eating she came to love and adopt into her family life after living in Australia from 2010 Karen finally decided to turn her passion into a business.
Karen has won awards for her work within the wedding industry, been featured in magazines and catered for many celebrities and famous names.
The Little Green Platter Company has gone from strength to strength and turned into a real Green family business and continues to offer unique quality grazing boards and boxes, wedding and celebration cheese cakes and some incredibly delicious hampers, gifts and subscriptions featuring arguably the absolute best British produce ever!
